The Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) is a Four Year Professional Degree Programme of Teacher Education which has offered after Senior Secondary Level. It is a regular full time degree. The objective of Bachelor Of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) is to prepare teacher for the elementary stage of education. B.el.Ed Degree holder can teach 1st to 8th Class student in Government sector school or Private School.
The B.El.Ed. (Bachelor of Elementary Education) programme shall be offered only in a constituent or affiliated college of Lucknow university offering Undergraduate (UG) studies in liberal arts, humanities, social sciences, commerce, mathematics and sciences, or a constituent or affiliated college of Lucknow University offering multiple Teacher Education Programme or Department of Education, Lucknow University itself.

The admission process for B.el.ed (Bachelor of Elementary Education) course –
- Those candidate who want to take admission in Four Year degree programme in Elementary teacher education will have to qualify the Centralized Entrance Test (CET).
- The candidate will be admitted on the basis of marks they obtained entrance examination.
- The entrance examination comprise of 100 objective type question and time duration is 90 minutes. The question will ask from Language ability (Hindi and English), General Awareness, Logical Reasoning, Mental Ability.
